Sailing has lots to offer. For youngsters it gives the chance to learn a new skill that can set them on a path to reach the top levels of the sport. At least it can give them a sport they can enjoy for the rest of their lives.
For adults its never too late to learn and is an activity that gives challenges, enjoyment and keeps you fit, much more fun than slogging it out at the gym.

2009 AGM minutes

10/01/10 January Newsletter

01/11/09 2009 Prizegiving - as a trial a new format was arranged to have the prizegiving in the afternoon. It seemed to work pretty well with a wide range of members attending from age 3 to age (cough) 63. The prizes were nicely spread through the membership with Neil Beveridge taking the Club championship and the also notably the Donaldson boys taking the new "McMaster award" for outstanding achievement. There were many other winners so well done to everyone.

29/10/09 Wahooo - we're back on-line

29/10/09 2010 is going to be a big year at Prestwick - Club 50th Aniversary celebrations are planned as is involvement in the Prom 100 year aniversary! We have big plans for the cadet section and will be encouraging them to get ready for the regular youth regatta in September.

angry sailor 21/10/09 The AGM will be at the clubhouse on the 19th November at 8pm - come along and have your say! Agenda here and it's very exciting we will also be voting on amendments to the constitution.

20/09/09 Skiff cruise to Arran was a roaring success - 47 mile round trip with hospitality form our friends at Arran yacht club. We'll be doing something similar next year alright.
