A 2-day course for adults looking to start sailing or build upon what they have already learned. Instructors will tailor the course based on previous experience, and will follow the RYA National Sailing Scheme syllabus to offer levels 1-3, or simply provide a weekend of instruction to build on confidence and skill on the water.

At £299 for the weekend, all sailing kit is provided (wetsuit, buoyancy aid, boats and safety cover), and a years membership at Prestwick sailing club is included allowing you to hire boats or participate in club events and continue building on what you have learned.

Adult Sailing Course (RYA Level 1)

Ideal for those new to sailing or wanting to improve, this weekend course teaches you the basics of sailing from which you can build on in our weekly club sailing sessions. On completion of this course you will be able to rig, launch, tack, sail in all directions and recover the boat ashore. Following the RYA National Sailing scheme this course combines practical sailing with some theory.

ADULT: The cost of this course is £299 which includes membership of the club for use on completion of your training course at our weekly sailing nights.

This ticket type entitles you to 2 days sailing on the dates specified, and 1 years membership to Prestwick Sailing Club.
You will receive an email with further information and a medical form which must be completed prior to the course start.

Adult Intermediate Course (RYA Level 2 Course)

£229.00

Ideal for those who have already completed the level 1 sailing course and are looking to advance there skills. On completion of this course you should be able to sail and make decisions in good conditions, and control the boat in dinghy manoeuvres. Following the RYA National Sailing scheme this course combines practical sailing with some theory.

ADULT Level 2: The cost of this course is £229.

This ticket type entitles you to 2 days sailing on the dates specified. This is non transferable and non refundable.
