AGM 2020 - Open Period

Under normal circumstances we would hold our Annual General Meeting in the clubhouse in November, but due to the current Covid restrictions our AGM cannot be a face-to-face event in 2020. We still want to hold an AGM because it is a requirement of our constitution, and there are a number of issues that we need to agree to allow the club to operate into 2021 and beyond.

As a result of the Covid restrictions we are going to hold the 2020 AGM as an on-line virtual meeting and our new club website has the facility to host an online virtual AGM.

We will invite all members to visit the AGM area on the website, record their participation and work their way through the agenda. Each agenda item will have the relevant information, and where appropriate members will be asked to vote on any proposals. There will also be an opportunity to post any questions and receive answers that all members can see.

The virtual AGM will be open for a fixed time in late November, probably 7 days. Members will be able to access the AGM at any time during the open period, and don't need to complete it all at one time.

We also plan to present the Club Annual Review as a Zoom type session but if you miss that, the Annual Review will also be included in the AGM documentation.

The formal "Notice of AGM" will be sent to all members in due course and will contain the final agenda and all the information you will require to take part.
