Women on the Water Taster Session

Prestwick Sailing Club would like to offer you as a woman an opportunity to find out what sailing a dinghy is all about. This taster session is designed to give you the confidence to try sailing, and we hope you will have so much fun that you will sign up for our adult training weekend on the 13th & 14th of June. The session will be led by our qualified female instructors who will explain to you the basic parts of the boat and take you for a sail around our beautiful Prestwick Bay, you will get an opportunity to try using the various controls on the boat, and by the end of the session you should feel confident in being onboard a dinghy in the sea. All you need to bring is your lovely self, a swimsuit, and something to wear on your feet in the sea which will stay on, so ideally not flip flops or crocs.
